The Board of the SOUTHERN Joint Stock company Nguyen Minh Nhi (Chairman of the Board) ) visited The High Agricultural Technology Research Institute for Mekong delta Vietnam (HATRI) on 4April 2018 to meet and discuss possibilities for future partnerships and know more about its current partnership with HATRI and explore areas of further cooperation to strengthen RICE VARIETIES from HATRI Rice in VietNam. “HATRI develops advanced rice varieties that yield more grain and better withstand pests and disease as well as flooding, drought, and other harmful effects of climate change. The new rice promotes innovation and access to new germplasm and information on rice technology. It is a membership-based organization that collaborates in the research and production of rice varieties.

Finaly, Prof. Lang promised to transfer to the company of 11 new rice varieties to testing and supply to the Southen Vietnam.
