SCIENTIFIC WORKSHOP CUCUMBERS, BITTER GROURD (Momordica charantia L.), BEAN (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) FOR CLIMATE CHANGE IN CAN THO CITY

Bitter gourd
The farmer delegates of Cai Rang district selected the best varieties for the Bitter gourd 10 varieties of Bitter gourd varieties in the 10 lines of growth. Selecting the 3 best Bitter gourd varieties: HATRI 06 KQ, HATRI 07KQ and HATRI 08)
The Cucumber: Institute also development 10 lines of cucumbers: Select 3 varieties of HATRI 01 DL cucumbers; HATRI 04 DL; HATRI 10 DL
Bean varieties in 7 line of bean seed prospectsbean. Select three good varieties of beans: HATRI 01 DQ; HATRI 03DQ. HATRI 06 DQ and HATRI 05 ĐQ These are very good lines clean disease for high productivity. Farmer delegates of Cai Rang district choose the best varieties.
Common bean, Cucumber and bitter grouder are an economically, nutritionally, and socially important crop. It is grown in Mekong delta regions and different seasons around the world by subsistence level farmers with low-technology input as well as by farmers that use high input technologies.This workshop presents the results of applying Biotechnology methods to common bean, cucumber and bitter grouder in the context of a breeding program. A panel of elite bean, cucumber and bitter grouder breeding lines was assessed for different agronomic traits in two locations under drought, irrigated and low P conditions in order to optimize model parameters, characterize G × E effects and simulate breeding applications.
